Hertz’s Impetus VSD 315 is an oil-injected two stage direct coupled rotary screw compressor with fixed and variable speed options. Outfitted with an IE4 efficiency class electric motor and heat recovery options for increased energy savings, the motor and driver meet the requirements of IEC2 (EN50598) and CE certificates. A high-efficiency intake chamber and cooling system work at a low noise level with low speed radial fans, supported by integrated water and oil separator systems.
The two-stage compressor improves energy efficiency by 10% and delivers a higher flow rate up to 10% compared to a single stage model. It is able to synchronize with up to five other compressors without an external main controller, and features a weekly scheduler for start/stop operation at three different time intervals for each day of the week.
